About Walker S2

Walker S2 is UBTECH Robotics’ industrial humanoid platform for manufacturing and logistics. The manufacturer describes 52 degrees of freedom. It lists a 15 kg payload for industrial handling. A defining feature is autonomous battery replacement. UBTECH says Walker S2 can detect a low battery, go to a battery station, replace it and return to work, with the exchange taking about three minutes. This enables continued operation across battery changes; it is separate from runtime on a single battery. Walker S2 industrial hardware should be compared with its own documentation. The Walker S2 EDU edition and earlier Walker S deployments describe different products or configurations, so their body measurements and factory references do not automatically apply to this platform.
