Walker S2 is an industrial humanoid robot developed by UBTECH Robotics, a robotics company based in Shenzhen, China. Designed for large-scale manufacturing and logistics, the platform combines advanced mobility, dexterous manipulation, and fleet intelligence to automate repetitive industrial tasks within existing factory environments. Walker S2 builds on UBTECH’s earlier humanoid platforms with a focus on continuous autonomous operation. The robot stands approximately 1.76 meters tall, weighs around 73 kilograms, and features 52 degrees of freedom, including fourth-generation dexterous hands for precise manipulation. It can carry payloads of up to 15 kilograms and walk at speeds of approximately 2 meters per second. Its defining capability is fully autonomous battery swapping, allowing the robot to detect low battery levels, navigate to a battery station, remove its depleted battery, install a charged replacement, and resume work without human intervention in approximately three minutes.
