Figure 03 is the third-generation general-purpose humanoid robot developed by Figure AI, a US robotics company based in California. Designed as a scalable commercial platform, it stands approximately 1.68 meters tall, weighs around 60 kilograms, and is capable of carrying payloads of up to 20 kilograms. The robot introduces redesigned perception hardware, wireless inductive charging, and a softer exterior to improve safety during human collaboration. Figure 03 is powered by Helix, the company’s in-house vision-language-action model, enabling the robot to perceive its surroundings, understand natural language instructions, and perform complex manipulation tasks without task-specific programming. Figure envisions the platform serving both industrial workplaces and, over time, household environments. Building on the success of earlier deployments, Figure 03 continues the company’s work with BMW at its Spartanburg, South Carolina manufacturing plant, where humanoid robots perform logistics and production sequencing tasks in real manufacturing operations.
