About Apollo

Apollo is the first commercial humanoid robot from Apptronik, a US robotics company based in Austin, Texas, with origins in the University of Texas robotics program. It stands about 1.73 meters tall, weighs approximately 73 kilograms, and is designed to lift payloads of up to 25 kilograms. Apollo uses hot-swappable battery packs that enable continuous operation through quick battery replacement rather than extended charging. Its force-controlled actuators and configurable safety zones allow it to work safely alongside people, a capability Apptronik considers central to real-world industrial deployment. Apollo is designed for repetitive logistics and manufacturing tasks including moving totes, feeding production lines, and delivering parts. The robot has been deployed in commercial pilot programs with Mercedes-Benz for assembly logistics and with GXO Logistics for warehouse automation. Apollo established Apptronik as one of the leading humanoid robotics companies in the United States and served as the foundation for its next-generation platform, Apollo 2.
