Full-size humanoid with record-breaking speed, dynamic locomotion, and high-torque electric actuators.
H1 is a full-size humanoid robot developed by Unitree Robotics, a robotics company based in Hangzhou, China. Introduced as the company’s first full-size humanoid platform, H1 combines high-performance locomotion with a relatively low price point, making advanced humanoid robotics more accessible to research institutions, universities, and industrial users. The robot stands approximately 1.8 meters tall, weighs around 47 kilograms, and features 19 degrees of freedom powered by Unitree’s proprietary high-torque electric actuators. Its perception system combines 3D LiDAR and depth cameras for navigation and environmental awareness, while a quick-swap battery supports extended operation with minimal downtime. H1 is best known for its dynamic athletic performance. It holds the Guinness World Record as the fastest full-size humanoid robot, reaching a top speed of approximately 3.3 meters per second, and became one of the first electric humanoid robots to successfully perform a standing backflip. These demonstrations highlighted the maturity of Unitree’s actuator technology and whole-body control systems.
