Skyworks Venture Capital Fund led the round, with participation from Neo Venture Europe and Zip Capital. The company will use the capital to expand across the UK and Europe and build a distributed network of remote robot operators.
Extend’s AMAS platform allows operators without robotics training to control robot arms or humanoids through an immersive 3D interface. AI systems handle routine portions of the workflow, while operators remain available for tasks or exceptions requiring human judgment.
Under its Result-as-a-Service model, customers pay for production output. Extend retains responsibility for the robot, integration, cycle time and task-completion risk.
The company says the model is already operating at Adrian Scripps, a British fruit producer, where a humanoid called Gilbert performs apple quality control on a working packing line. The deployment uses Google Cloud and Gemini, collects operational data continuously and is intended to become progressively more autonomous. The system was demonstrated remotely during the Google DeepMind Robotics Accelerator Demo Day in September.
Extend has also worked with Leyland Trucks on high-voltage component installation and spray painting. It became an official Unitree Robotics integrator in January and was selected for NVIDIA’s Robotics Startup Showcase at GTC 2026.
The company reports 35 subscription customers across automotive, aerospace, nuclear, agriculture and robotics, with revenue doubling annually for three consecutive years. Those customer and growth figures are company-reported. Extend has not disclosed revenue, pricing, task throughput, uptime or intervention rates.
