A human centric bipedal robot purpose built for logistics operations, featuring advanced mobility and manipulation for warehouse environments.
Digit is a bipedal humanoid robot developed by Agility Robotics, a company based in Oregon, and is purpose-built for commercial logistics and warehouse automation. Designed to operate in environments built for people, Digit can walk, turn, crouch, and navigate cluttered spaces while moving totes, loading conveyors, stacking containers, and collaborating with autonomous mobile robots. Its legged mobility enables it to traverse areas that are difficult for traditional wheeled automation, making it well suited to dynamic warehouse environments. In June 2024, GXO Logistics deployed Digit under a multi-year Robots-as-a-Service agreement at a facility near Atlanta, marking one of the first commercial deployments of humanoid robots in day-to-day logistics operations. By late 2025, the deployment had handled more than 100,000 totes, demonstrating sustained real-world performance. To support growing demand, Agility Robotics opened RoboFab in Salem, Oregon, one of the first manufacturing facilities dedicated to large-scale humanoid robot production. Digit is widely regarded as one of the first humanoid robots to achieve meaningful commercial deployment at scale.
