A cognitive humanoid robot combining advanced AI with human like form for industrial and service applications across diverse environments.
4NE-1 is a humanoid robot developed by Neura Robotics, a company based in Metzingen, Germany, that describes it as a cognitive robot capable of perceiving, learning, and interacting in real time. The robot stands about 1.8 meters tall and weighs around 80 kilograms, with a multimodal sensor suite combining vision, hearing, and touch, including artificial sensor skin and 360-degree perception for safe operation around people. Neura says the robot is engineered for both strength and dexterity, with a maximum lift capacity of up to 100 kilograms and hot-swappable batteries that support approximately six to eight hours of operation. Its design was developed in collaboration with Studio F.A. Porsche, giving it a distinctive industrial aesthetic. Neura targets applications in manufacturing, logistics, and service environments, positioning 4NE-1 as one of Europe’s leading humanoid robot platforms. Commercial reservations are open ahead of broader availability, with published pricing beginning at approximately €98,000 per unit for small orders.
