The facility officially entered operation on September 12 and will manufacture UBTECH’s Walker S-series industrial humanoids and Cruzr robots. According to the production plan, the line is designed to complete one robot every 10 minutes at full operating cadence.

The factory uses industrial simulation systems and centralized digital production management to coordinate manufacturing. UBTECH is also deploying robots within the facility itself, creating what local officials described as a closed-loop “robots building robots” production model.

UBTECH worked with Siemens on the factory’s digital manufacturing infrastructure, which is intended to manage high component counts, frequent internal logistics movements, precision assembly requirements and rapid product revisions.

The new plant materially increases UBTECH’s stated production capability. When Walker S2 entered mass production in November 2025, the company was targeting annual industrial-humanoid capacity of 5,000 units in 2026 and 10,000 by 2027. The Liuzhou facility is now planned for more than 10,000 units annually.

UBTECH reported 921 full-size embodied-intelligence humanoids sold in the first half of 2026, generating RMB 590 million in revenue. Earlier this week, the company also disclosed more than RMB 50 million in new overseas orders across Europe, Japan and South Korea.
