A general purpose humanoid robot designed for embodied AI research and industrial automation applications.
Genie G1, also known as AgiBot G1, is a wheeled embodied AI robot developed by AgiBot, a robotics company based in Shanghai, China. Part of the company’s Genie product family, G1 is built as a universal robotics platform for embodied AI research, data collection, and industrial automation. Its modular design supports rapid experimentation and AI model development across a range of robotic applications. The platform features an adjustable height of approximately 1.3 to 1.8 meters, weighs around 150 kilograms, and provides 26 degrees of freedom, including 20 in the body and six in a replaceable end-effector. A wheeled omnidirectional base enables stable mobility, while interchangeable tools such as a two-finger gripper allow the robot to perform a variety of manipulation tasks. Genie G1 is optimized for collecting high-quality robotics data through motion capture and VR teleoperation, enabling developers to record demonstrations, generate full-body joint trajectories, and train embodied AI models.
