About A2-Ultra

A2-Ultra is a full-size bipedal humanoid robot and the flagship of the A2 family from AgiBot, an embodied AI company based in Shanghai, China, founded in 2023. It stands about 1.69 meters tall, weighs roughly 69 kilograms, and features 40 active degrees of freedom, including seven per arm and dexterous hands. Its perception system combines 3D lidar with multiple high-definition, RGB-D, RGB, and fisheye cameras, a microphone array, and force sensing, powered by an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin compute platform. Battery life ranges from approximately 1.5 hours of continuous walking to around 3 hours while stationary, with battery swapping supported, and it can walk at speeds of up to 1.2 meters per second. AgiBot positions A2-Ultra for interactive service applications including reception, visitor guidance, exhibitions, and customer engagement, while highlighting its autonomous navigation and internationally recognized safety certifications. The company has also open-sourced AgiBot World, a large-scale embodied AI dataset containing more than one million manipulation trajectories collected across its robot fleet. Based on reported industry shipment estimates, AgiBot became the world’s highest-volume humanoid robot manufacturer in 2025.
