Moby is a general-purpose industrial humanoid robot developed by Noble Machines, a California robotics company founded in 2024 by engineers with experience at SpaceX, Apple, NASA, and Caltech. Built for physically demanding environments, Moby is designed to automate hazardous and labor-intensive work across manufacturing, logistics, construction, energy, and semiconductor industries. The platform emphasizes durability, strength, and mobility over human-like appearance. The robot can lift payloads of up to 27 kilograms and is engineered to navigate challenging environments including stairs, scaffolding, steep inclines, uneven terrain, and outdoor worksites. Noble Machines combines robust hardware with AI-powered whole-body control to deliver stable locomotion and autonomous task execution in environments that are difficult for traditional industrial robots.
