Modular humanoid with walk/wheel mobility and interchangeable limbs
KUAVO-5 is a humanoid robot developed by Leju Robotics, a Chinese robotics company focused on commercial humanoid platforms for industrial, research, and educational applications. The platform is built around a modular architecture that allows users to configure the same core robot for different mobility and manipulation requirements, making it adaptable to a wide range of deployment scenarios. The robot stands approximately 1.7 meters tall, weighs around 55 kilograms, and is available in both a bipedal walking configuration and the KUAVO-5W variant, which replaces the legs with an omnidirectional wheeled base for faster and more stable indoor mobility. Its modular design also supports interchangeable end-effectors, including dexterous five-finger hands, parallel grippers, and specialized claws, enabling the platform to perform diverse industrial and research tasks.
