The facility is located inside Minth’s existing manufacturing operation and represents a €20 million first-phase investment. More than 5,000 robots are expected to be assembled annually in the initial stage.
The partnership combines AGIBOT’s humanoid robotics technology with Minth’s manufacturing infrastructure in Serbia. The Šabac facility will handle assembly, calibration and testing of humanoid robots and robotic dogs for customers in Europe and other international markets.
The companies are planning a much larger expansion beyond the initial production line. A Robotics Industrial Park is planned for Inđija as part of a wider €200 million investment, with annual capacity eventually expected to reach up to 20,000 humanoid robots and robotic dogs.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Minth founder Qin Ronghua opened the facility on August 29, placing a serial number on the first robot produced at the site.
AGIBOT is one of China’s largest humanoid manufacturers by volume. The company shipped approximately 9,700 humanoid robots globally during the first half of 2026, according to Counterpoint Research, ahead of Unitree, Galbot, UBTECH and Leju Robotics.
The Serbian operation gives AGIBOT a manufacturing base much closer to European customers as it expands beyond its domestic market.
