About Gen-1
GEN-1 is an embodied AI foundation model developed by Generalist, a US company building general-purpose intelligence for robots. It provides the perception, reasoning, and control capabilities that enable robots to understand language, interpret their surroundings, and perform dexterous manipulation tasks. The model unifies vision, language, and action into a single system capable of executing complex physical tasks across multiple robotic platforms. GEN-1 was trained on large-scale robotics datasets to generalize across different environments and hardware with minimal robot-specific training.
