About Mirokai

Mirokai is a social robot developed by Enchanted Tools, a robotics company based near Paris, France, founded in 2021 by Jérôme Monceaux. Designed for human-centered environments, Mirokai combines expressive interaction, autonomous mobility, and light manipulation to support hospitality, healthcare, retail, and public service applications. Its character-inspired appearance is intended to encourage natural engagement and make interactions more approachable. The robot’s defining feature is its ball-balancing mobility system. Instead of walking or using conventional wheels, Mirokai balances on a single motorized sphere that enables smooth omnidirectional movement and exceptional maneuverability in crowded indoor spaces. The platform stands just over one meter tall and uses torque-controlled arms and dexterous hands to carry lightweight objects and perform service tasks. Integrated AI supports autonomous navigation, conversational interaction, perception, and object handling.
