About Vega 1 Pro

Vega 1 Pro is Dexmate’s mobile manipulation platform for developers and researchers. It combines two arms and an articulated upper body with a wheeled base. The current platform weighs 135 kg and has 24 degrees of freedom across its arms, torso, head and base, before separately ordered end effectors. Dexmate lists a payload of 5 kg per arm. It advertises 20 hours of operation on a charge. Its working reach extends from floor level to 2.2 m; that reach is a different measurement from standing height. The folded dimensions and maximum arms-raised dimensions describe separate configurations. Vega 1 Pro is sold as a development and research platform. Dexmate explicitly describes it as hardware on which developers build their own capabilities, rather than a delivered set of autonomous household or industrial tasks.
