About MagicLab
MagicLab (Magic Atom Robotics) is a Chinese humanoid robotics company developing vertically integrated robots for industrial and commercial applications. Founded in late 2023 in Wuxi by Wu Changzheng, former leader of Xiaomi’s CyberDog project, the company designs and manufactures more than 90% of its hardware in-house, enabling tight integration between mechanical systems, electronics, actuators, and embodied AI. Its MagicBot humanoid platform is designed for factory automation and real-world deployment, with fleets already being used for industrial training and validation. MagicLab is founded in Wuxi
MagicLab was founded in December 2023 by Wu Changzheng, who led Xiaomi's CyberDog quadruped project. He set out to build a full-stack humanoid company in Wuxi.

Angel and Series B rounds build out the team
Funding included a 150 million RMB angel round in late 2024 and a Series B of hundreds of millions of yuan in May 2025, growing the team to 300+ employees with 70%+ in R&D.

MagicBot and MagicHand define the product stack
The MagicBot (3rd gen, 42 DOF) lifts 20 kg per arm, carries 40 kg total, and operates 5 hours continuously. Factory footage showed fleets performing inspection, material handling, and warehousing. MagicHand S01 (11 DOF per hand) and a quadruped were also launched.
