S1 is a dual-arm mobile manipulation robot developed by Astribot, an AI robotics company founded in Shenzhen, China, in 2022. Built for high-speed, high-precision manipulation, the platform combines a human-scale upper body with an omnidirectional wheeled base to automate tasks across homes, laboratories, manufacturing, and commercial service environments. Astribot focuses on dexterity and embodied AI, enabling the robot to learn complex physical skills through observation and demonstration. The robot stands approximately 1.7 meters tall, weighs around 80 kilograms, and features two seven-degree-of-freedom robotic arms capable of handling payloads of approximately 5 to 10 kilograms each. Astribot reports end-effector speeds of up to 10 meters per second while maintaining high positioning accuracy and repeatability. The omnidirectional wheeled base provides stable mobility, allowing the robot to operate efficiently in indoor environments.
