Wheeled service robot with dual bionic arms, omnidirectional mobility, and commercial deployment.
Panther is a wheeled service robot developed by UniX AI, a robotics company founded in 2024 and based in Suzhou, China. Designed for household and commercial environments, Panther combines a mobile omnidirectional base with highly dexterous dual-arm manipulation to perform service tasks that require both mobility and precise object handling. The platform prioritizes efficiency, stability, and continuous indoor operation over bipedal locomotion. The robot moves on a four-wheel-drive, four-wheel-steering chassis that enables omnidirectional movement through tight indoor spaces. It features 34 high-degree-of-freedom joints and two eight-degree-of-freedom bionic robotic arms, each capable of handling payloads of up to 12 kilograms. An adjustable upper body provides approximately 80 centimeters of vertical travel, allowing Panther to reach high shelves or interact with objects near the floor. The platform is powered by a 48-volt electrical architecture and equipped with adaptive grippers for a wide variety of manipulation tasks.
