Robo-C 2 is a humanoid service android developed by Promobot, a robotics company based in Russia specializing in autonomous service robots and human-like androids. Built for face-to-face interaction, Robo-C 2 emphasizes realistic appearance, expressive communication, and conversational AI, making it suitable for customer service, exhibitions, museums, healthcare, education, and corporate reception environments. The robot features an anatomically inspired face with more than 600 facial expressions generated through a network of mechanical actuators beneath a multi-layer silicone skin. It can reproduce subtle eye movements, lip synchronization, eyebrow motion, wrinkles, and microexpressions to create natural conversations and emotional engagement. A defining capability of Robo-C 2 is full facial customization, allowing the android to be manufactured in the likeness of a specific individual for personalized customer experiences or public figures.
