About RoBee

RoBee is a cognitive humanoid robot developed by Oversonic Robotics, an Italian robotics company based in Lombardy. Designed for both industrial automation and healthcare, RoBee combines embodied AI, autonomous mobility, and human-centered interaction to perform physical and collaborative tasks in regulated environments. Oversonic states that RoBee is the first humanoid robot certified for use in both industrial and healthcare applications, enabling deployment across factories, hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities. The robot stands approximately 1.75 meters tall, weighs around 80 kilograms, and features approximately 40 degrees of freedom with dexterous humanoid hands for object manipulation. Integrated cameras, onboard perception, and AI-powered cognitive software allow RoBee to navigate autonomously, interact naturally with people, and perform tasks including machine tending, pick-and-place operations, packaging, material handling, patient assistance, and healthcare support. An inductive charging system provides up to eight hours of operation.
