Founder and CEO He Xiaopeng presented the schedule during XPENG Paris Night on October 11, ahead of the Paris Motor Show.
The company’s roadmap identifies three milestones: mass production beginning in late 2026, initial deliveries during the first half of 2027 and a European rollout during the second half of the year.
XPENG previously announced plans to begin commercial deliveries in China and international markets during 2027. The latest presentation establishes a regional target for Europe.
The company expects IRON’s initial commercial applications to focus on customer-facing environments, including XPENG sales centers and corporate facilities. Planned tasks include guided tours, shopping assistance and accompanying patrols.
These applications will allow XPENG to introduce humanoid robots within environments it already operates while continuing to develop their capabilities for more complex industrial and household tasks.
In September, XPENG announced that its dedicated humanoid production facility had been commissioned, with an IRON robot completing assembly and walking autonomously off the production line.
The company reported that more than 80% of the facility’s core manufacturing processes were automated.
IRON’s development is supported by XPENG’s broader Physical AI technology stack, which incorporates proprietary computing hardware, artificial intelligence models and manufacturing infrastructure originally developed for intelligent vehicles.
The robotics business also secured more than $900 million in financing earlier this year, at a reported post-money valuation exceeding $6.3 billion.
XPENG has not disclosed which European countries will receive IRON first, its expected selling price or the distribution arrangements for the regional rollout.
The announced schedule remains a company target, with commercial production volumes and customer deliveries yet to be confirmed.
