About MIRO U

MIRO U is an industrial humanoid robot developed by Midea Group, one of China’s largest home appliance manufacturers. Designed specifically for factory automation, MIRO U introduces a distinctive six-arm architecture that enables multiple assembly and material handling tasks to be performed simultaneously. The platform forms part of Midea’s broader embodied AI strategy and represents the third generation of the company’s industrial robotics systems. The robot combines a human-inspired upper body with six coordinated bionic arms mounted on a mobile chassis capable of 360-degree rotation and vertical lifting. The lower arms support and position heavy components while the upper arms perform precision operations such as fastening and assembly, allowing the robot to execute complex manufacturing workflows within production lines designed for human workers. Its human-like head also supports compatibility with existing factory workstations and vision systems.
