Futuring 2, also known as F2, is a home humanoid robot developed by Futuring Robot, a Chinese robotics company focused on domestic embodied AI. Designed as a general-purpose household assistant, the robot is intended to help with everyday chores, family support, and companionship rather than industrial work. Futuring positions F2 as an AI-powered home partner capable of assisting across a wide range of daily living scenarios. The robot features approximately 26 degrees of freedom, including around 12 in its dexterous hands, enabling it to manipulate household objects and perform basic domestic tasks. Demonstrated capabilities include tidying toys and clothing, operating household appliances such as washing machines, providing reminders, reading stories, playing interactive games with children, and offering companionship for older adults. Its multimodal AI combines vision, speech, and natural language interaction to support intuitive communication within the home.
