About SE01
SE01 is the first full-size humanoid robot developed by EngineAI, a robotics company based in Shenzhen, China. Introduced in 2024, the platform is designed as a general-purpose humanoid for embodied AI research and commercial applications, with a particular emphasis on achieving natural, human-like locomotion through end-to-end AI control. The robot stands approximately 1.7 meters tall, weighs around 55 kilograms including its battery, and features 32 degrees of freedom distributed across its arms, legs, waist, and hands. Powered by EngineAI’s proprietary harmonic actuators, SE01 combines NVIDIA and Intel computing platforms with stereo vision and multiple onboard sensors for perception, balance, and autonomous movement.
