About Orca

Orca is a compact humanoid robot developed by CYAN Robotics, a robotics company founded in Shanghai, China, in 2023. Designed for human-centered environments, Orca combines expressive interaction, embodied AI, and agile mobility to support applications including companionship, eldercare, education, rehabilitation, and customer service. The platform emphasizes natural communication and emotional engagement alongside autonomous operation. Standing approximately 1.45 meters tall, Orca is capable of walking, climbing stairs, and maintaining dynamic balance in complex indoor environments. It features dual robotic arms for manipulation and an OLED face that displays expressive animations and visual information during interactions. CYAN Robotics developed the platform’s hardware, motion control, perception, and AI software entirely in-house.
