Vibe Robotics is a startup building small, low-cost humanoid platforms for accessibility, education, and eventually family assistance. Founded in 2024, the company is using affordable hardware, open software, and a smaller form factor to lower the barrier to entry for researchers, students, hobbyists, and households.
Vibes official roadmap pairs the Sunday A1 research model with Sunday 01, a three-foot family companion aimed at daily chores and childcare support. That pairing makes clear that the company sees education and household assistance as linked parts of the same lower-cost humanoid strategy.
Vibe Robotics was founded in 2024 to build ultra-low-cost humanoid robots for accessibility and education. The companys broader mission is to create small humanoid companions that fit into daily family life rather than only industrial environments.
On its official site, Vibe says the Sunday A1 academic version launched for pre-sale in November 2025 and began first shipments to researchers and students in December 2025. The company positioned the robot as an open-source, research-ready humanoid priced to be accessible to students and hobbyists.

Vibe Robotics is taking the opposite approach from high-end industrial humanoids. Its bet is that much smaller and cheaper humanoid platforms can create demand earlier in research, education, and home-oriented use cases than a single expensive general-purpose machine.
