QSS AI & Robotics is a Saudi Arabian robotics company developing humanoid robots and intelligent automation systems for industrial, commercial, and public-sector applications. Headquartered in Riyadh and founded by Dr. Elie Metri, the company designs, manufactures, and deploys robotic platforms that support Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to build a domestic advanced robotics industry. Its portfolio includes SARA and MOHAMAD, recognized as the first Saudi-made humanoid robots, as well as MOSAED, an industrial humanoid designed for enterprise and manufacturing environments. By combining locally developed hardware with artificial intelligence and autonomous systems, QSS AI & Robotics is helping establish Saudi Arabia’s presence in the global humanoid robotics ecosystem.

In early 2026, the companies opened MENA's first dedicated humanoid robotics showroom in Riyadh, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's industrial automation goals.
QSS AI & Robotics was founded in Riyadh by Dr. Elie Metri, a Lebanese-born, Saudi-based technologist and one of the Middle East's most prominent voices in robotics and AI.
In 2023, Metri introduced SARA, the first Saudi-made humanoid robot. Standing 162cm tall, SARA wears Saudi clothing and is powered by a proprietary LLM (not ChatGPT). She is programmed with cultural awareness, "she knows she's a girl, she's 25 years old", and respects local values.
QSS followed with MOHAMAD, a male humanoid counterpart, and MOSAED, an industrial humanoid for manufacturing applications. The company also developed SAUD, which debuted at LEAP 2025 as Saudi Arabia's most advanced humanoid.
In October 2025, QSS announced a strategic partnership with UK-based Humanoid to deploy up to 10,000 units across Saudi Arabia over five years. QSS will oversee local assembly at its Riyadh Robotics Factory, with the first units expected Q3 2026.
