Dobot is a Shenzhen-based robotics company and the world's second-largest collaborative robot manufacturer, with over 80,000 cobots deployed across 80+ countries. Founded in 2015, the company went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in December 2024 as China's first listed cobot maker, and has since expanded into humanoid robotics with the Dobot Atom.
The company grew to hold 13% global cobot market share, second only to Universal Robots worldwide and first in China. On December 23, 2024, Dobot went public on HKEX, raising HKD 681 million, becoming China's first listed cobot maker.
In 2025, Dobot entered humanoid robotics with the Atom, featuring dexterous five-finger hands and a straight-knee gait reducing energy consumption by 42%. Priced at 199,000 yuan (~$27,500), mass production began mid-2025.
