Ultra compact humanoid platform for education, research, and RoboCup competition.
K1 is a compact humanoid robot developed by Booster Robotics, a Chinese robotics company focused on education, embodied AI research, and robotics competitions. Standing approximately 95 centimeters tall and weighing around 19.5 kilograms, K1 provides a lightweight and affordable platform for developing, testing, and deploying humanoid robotics algorithms. The robot features 22 degrees of freedom, including articulated legs, arms, and head for dynamic locomotion and whole-body control. It is powered by NVIDIA Jetson computing platforms offering configurations from approximately 48 to 200 TOPS and supports Python, ROS, and ROS 2 for AI development and robotics research. Its perception system includes a stereo depth camera, a nine-axis inertial measurement unit, and a microphone array for navigation, balance, and voice interaction.
