Investors in the round include Linear Capital, Junshan Capital, Hongyi Capital and Hidden Hill Capital, according to the company’s announcement reported by Beijing News and China Business Journal. The exact amount and valuation were not disclosed.
Xieyue plans to use the capital to train its embodied foundation models, expand computing and data infrastructure, grow its core team and develop robot hardware for household environments. The company has already built an initial version of its own egocentric data-collection hardware and data platform.
The startup was founded in early 2026 by Chen Wei, formerly Li Auto’s AI chief scientist and head of foundation models, and Zhang Xiao, a former Li Auto product-line president. Chen previously worked on Li Auto’s MindGPT and MindVLA systems, while Zhang was involved in defining consumer vehicles including the Li L9.
Xieyue is initially targeting the home rather than industrial environments. Its technical approach centers on what the company calls Duplex Reasoning, an embodied foundation-model architecture intended to combine perception, planning, interaction and physical actions in unstructured household settings.
The company plans to establish an end-to-end data pipeline covering collection, cleaning, annotation and model training during 2026, while continuing development of its first consumer robot.
Xieyue previously raised an initial financing backed by Li Auto and Vision Plus Capital shortly after its formation.
