The round was led by Mirae Asset Financial Group, with strategic investment from Meituan. Other participants included Hefei State-Owned Capital, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industries Fund, Cathay Capital, Vertex Growth, Prosperity7, Hillhouse Venture Capital and 5Y Capital, alongside a broader group of new and existing investors.
The financing follows a $120 million B1 round in March and $150 million B2 round in April, bringing D-Robotics’ disclosed 2026 financing to approximately $670 million. The company previously raised $100 million in its Series A.
D-Robotics develops computing chips and software infrastructure for robots rather than a single robot platform. Its Sunrise processor family spans computing requirements across humanoids, wheeled industrial robots, quadrupeds and consumer robotics. The company says the new capital will be used to broaden its chip portfolio and build a software platform covering data collection, model training, simulation, validation and inference deployment.
Its Sunrise S600 platform is being used across humanoid robotics, industrial wheeled systems, flexible electronics manufacturing, embodied foundation models and multimodal perception. D-Robotics says its customer coverage in China’s embodied-intelligence sector has now exceeded 50%. That figure is company-reported and has not been independently verified.
D-Robotics was spun out of Horizon Robotics and began operating independently in 2024. Earlier company disclosures said its 2025 shipments increased 180% year over year, while its customer base grew 200%.
