UFB is a humanoid robot combat sports league. Partners with Unitree, Booster Robotics, and Frodobots for live piloted robot fights. Online platform allows global remote control of real humanoids in live combat matches.
UFB, short for Ultimate Fighting Bots, is a humanoid robot combat league blending robotics, sport, and entertainment. Founded in 2025, the company uses piloted humanoids and machine-learning strategy roles to turn robot competition into a spectator format built around real physical hardware rather than only simulation or online gameplay.
On its official site, UFB says every team is organized around a pilot and a ghost: one drives the humanoid in the arena while the other trains machine-learning policies and strategy. That structure gives the league a distinct mix of teleoperation, embodied AI training, and spectator competition.
UFB was founded in 2025 to create a live combat-sports format for humanoid robots. Roboticos dataset tracks the company as a league that combines Unitree, Booster Robotics, and Frodobots hardware with live piloting and machine-learning-driven competition.
UFB describes itself as a sport of the AI era that merges entertainment, engineering, and physical AI into a new kind of spectacle. The broader bet is that public competition can help make humanoid robotics culturally familiar while also pushing teams to improve hardware and control in real arenas.

UFB is less about productive labor and more about building a cultural layer around humanoids. Its thesis is that competition can accelerate robotics development while also turning robots into mainstream entertainment, giving teams incentives to train, tune, and physically field better machines.
