Founded in December 2024, Beijing-based RoboScience develops general-purpose embodied intelligence. Its Visics foundation model uses a Vision-Language-Object-Action architecture to generalize manipulation across objects, tasks and robot platforms, supported by the RoboMirage physics simulation engine. In August 2026 it unveiled REX G1, a wheeled humanoid robot for manipulation applications. RoboScience partnered with Tencent Cloud to offer embodied AI capabilities through cloud services. On November 2, 2026, the company announced a Series A2 financing round of several hundred million yuan, co-led by Amber Capital, Hongruida Investment and Shanghai Semiconductor Industry Investment, with participation from Shuang Capital, 360 Strategic Investment, Guolian Tongbao and Jinding Capital. The exact amount and valuation were not disclosed.
