PHYMI is a Shenzhen-based embodied AI company developing what it calls “Physical Agents”, intelligent robotic systems designed to operate autonomously in complex, dynamic real-world environments. Founded in 2026 by Liu Nianqiu, a former technical partner and board member at autonomous driving company DeepRoute.ai, PHYMI is applying experience from autonomous driving to physical intelligence. Its technology focuses on enabling robots to perceive their surroundings, navigate unfamiliar environments and perform manipulation tasks across different physical forms. The company emerged from stealth in 2026 after raising nearly $100 million in seed funding. Its investors include IDG Capital, Yunqi Capital, DiDi, Fosun RZ Capital, Glory Ventures and Hesai.
