ATB Automation traces part of its history to 1950, when J. Mijnsbergen B.V. was founded in Amsterdam, and later to the 1959 founding of ATB in Brussels. Those roots established the company as a long-running regional motion and transmission specialist before the robotics cycle accelerated.
In 2016, the company says ATB Automation became the joint name for Mijnsbergen and ATB Automation in the Benelux. That consolidation helped turn a set of legacy component businesses into a clearer automation and motion-control identity.
