CASBOT 02 is a bipedal humanoid robot from Casbot, a robotics company founded in 2023 and based in Beijing, China. It was introduced in 2025 as a lighter, interaction-oriented counterpart to the firm's larger CASBOT 01, which is aimed at demanding industrial and mining work. Standing a little over 1.6 meters tall and weighing in the region of 50 to 55 kilograms, CASBOT 02 is designed for environments where a robot must sense and respond to people rather than lift heavy loads. It carries a substantial onboard compute stack, reported at around 275 TOPS on an NVIDIA Orin platform paired with a secondary processor, along with RGB-D cameras, an inertial sensor, and a microphone array. These support face tracking and voiceprint recognition so the robot can engage visitors and hold its attention in noisy rooms.
