Koji Sato is Vice Chairman and Chief Industry Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation. A mechanical engineer by training, he joined Toyota in April 1992 and spent much of his career in vehicle development, including the Prius, Camry and Lexus LC. He later became President of Lexus International and GAZOO Racing before succeeding Akio Toyoda as Toyota’s President & CEO in April 2023.
