Building AI infrastructure
NVIDIA and LG plan to work together on advanced AI factories. These facilities will provide the computing power needed to train and run AI models for LG’s businesses, including robotics, manufacturing, mobility, and data centers.
The companies will also explore cooling, power, and modular data-center technologies to support large-scale AI systems.
Developing smarter robots
The partnership will combine NVIDIA’s robotics platforms and AI models with LG’s manufacturing and product expertise. LG is expected to use NVIDIA technologies such as Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, and Isaac GR00T to design, train, and test robots in virtual environments before deploying them in the real world.
The companies are also working on robot data, simulation, and foundation models. These technologies could support future home robots, factory robots, and humanoid robots.
Advancing intelligent vehicles
NVIDIA and LG are also expanding cooperation in automotive technology. Their work may include advanced driver-assistance systems, in-vehicle AI, and computing platforms for future software-defined vehicles.
A broader technology strategy
The collaboration brings together NVIDIA’s strengths in GPUs, AI software, simulation, and robotics with LG’s expertise in electronics, manufacturing, sensors, batteries, telecommunications, and mobility.
The goal is to create a complete AI ecosystem—from data centers and model training to robots, factories, homes, and vehicles.
This partnership does not mean that all planned products are already available. Many initiatives are still under development. However, the agreement shows that both companies see physical AI and robotics as important parts of the next stage of technological growth.
