Beijing-based humanoid robot manufacturer Noetix Robotics has reportedly filed confidentially for an initial public offering in Hong Kong, according to Bloomberg reporting on October 22. People familiar with the plans said the company could seek to raise several hundred million dollars and might list as early as 2027. Neither the fundraising target nor the timetable has been finalized, and Noetix has not publicly confirmed the filing.
Operating under the Chinese name Songyan Power, Noetix has built a range of humanoid robots aimed at different customers. Its Bumi is a compact, lower-priced biped designed for consumer and educational use, while the N2 and E1 platforms target more advanced robotics development. The company’s official website provides product documentation and software development kits, including reinforcement-learning resources for its research platforms.
The possible listing follows a substantial private financing round in March. Noetix announced a Series B raise of approximately RMB 1 billion, with backing led by Chendao Capital, an investment platform associated with battery manufacturer CATL. The financing gave the company additional resources for product development and expansion, although its latest revenue, profitability and confirmed shipment figures have not been disclosed in the IPO reporting.
The confidential filing comes as Chinese humanoid manufacturers face growing pressure to demonstrate commercial traction alongside their technical progress. Other robotics companies have also explored public listings, while Chinese regulators have increased scrutiny of financial performance and valuations in the sector. For Noetix, a Hong Kong offering would introduce a new source of capital, but the reported filing is not an approved IPO and does not guarantee that a transaction will take place.
Bloomberg’s report is based on unnamed sources familiar with the matter. The application date, proposed valuation, financial statements and intended use of proceeds remain unavailable because the filing is confidential. Noetix’s official product and financing materials corroborate the company background, not the reported IPO filing.
