There’s a new set of robots in town, and these ones can talk.
They have names, personalities, expressive faces and memories of their own. They can hold a conversation in more than 100 languages, recognize familiar faces with an optional vision system and even change their appearance.
Meet Echo, the latest humanoid series from Las Vegas-based Realbotix, the company betting that the future of robotics will be as much about how machines interact with people as what they can physically accomplish.
The new series introduces four characters, Aria, Mila, Dave and Amar, available in two formats. Echo Tabletop offers a compact conversational companion, while Echo Full Body brings the same technology into a life-sized humanoid.
More Than a Face
Realbotix has spent years developing humanoids capable of realistic facial expressions and human interaction. Echo brings that expertise together with conversational AI, giving its robots the ability to respond to people through speech, movement and expression.
Its eyes move, its face changes expression and its mouth synchronizes with speech. Lifelike skin, realistic wigs and clothing give each character a distinctive appearance.
The technology extends into the conversation itself. Echo supports thousands of voices and more than 100 languages, responding in whichever language someone speaks to it. Short- and long-term memory allows the robot to remember previous interactions, making conversations more personal over time.
Personalization also extends to its physical appearance. Users can swap Echo’s face and wig, then select the corresponding character through the Realbotix app.
The company’s patented Vinci Vision technology adds another dimension to these interactions, allowing Echo to recognize who it is speaking with, maintain eye contact and follow people with coordinated eye and neck movements.
Realbotix has also developed a digital version of each character, allowing users to continue conversations through their phone, tablet or computer when away from the physical robot.
Two Models, Four Characters
Echo are available in two configurations, giving people a choice between a compact companion and a life-sized humanoid.
Echo Tabletop stands 32 inches tall and weighs approximately 25 pounds. With 17 degrees of freedom, it delivers the series’ expressive facial movements and conversational capabilities in a smaller format.
Echo Full Body offers a life-sized version with 39 degrees of freedom, weighing approximately 90 pounds. Female characters stand 72 inches tall, while male characters reach 77 inches.
The Full Body model features a modular construction that allows its head, arms, torso and legs to be separated and packed into a suitcase.
Both models support battery and wall power and work with leading AI models, allowing Realbotix to incorporate new capabilities as conversational AI continues to improve
The Future of Human-Robot Interaction
The arrival of Echo comes at a time when advances in artificial intelligence are changing what people can expect from conversations with machines. AI can already sustain detailed exchanges, adapt to context and maintain increasingly natural dialogue. Realbotix is bringing those capabilities into humanoids with recognizable faces, physical expressions and individual personalities.
“Echo robots represent a major step forward in Realbotix’s mission to improve human lives through social robots,” said Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Realbotix.
Built in Las Vegas, Echo is the latest development in Realbotix’s work on lifelike humanoids. The company has become known for demonstrating its robots live at major technology events, where visitors can interact with them directly.
The new Echo series is scheduled to appear at CES 2027 in January, giving audiences an opportunity to experience the technology firsthand.
Reservations for Echo are now open.
Robotico is an official launch partner for Echo, by Realbotix.
