Anduril previously announced a $3.7 billion investment in the new facility as part of a broader initiative to expand domestic submarine manufacturing capacity.
Gecko develops robotic systems capable of collecting detailed information about industrial structures and components.
Its technology combines automated inspection hardware with software that analyzes physical measurements to identify potential defects and manufacturing inconsistencies.
The partnership focuses on non-destructive testing, a process used to evaluate the condition of manufactured components without damaging them.
These inspections are particularly important in industries where complex components must meet strict reliability and quality requirements.
According to Gecko, its technology has reduced inspection timelines for forged components by as much as 90% in previous customer applications.
The company also says its systems can help workers without prior non-destructive testing experience become productive after approximately one hour of training.
Anduril is integrating the technology with ArsenalOS, its manufacturing software platform.
Inspection data collected during production will contribute to a digital record of each component, allowing manufacturers to track quality information throughout production and subsequent maintenance.
The companies say this approach could reduce inspection delays while expanding the number of workers capable of supporting quality-control operations.
Anduril confirmed that Gecko’s technology is already being incorporated into production workflows at its California facility.
