The financing has not formally closed. The lead investor was not identified, and FieldAI did not respond to the publication’s request for comment. The reported valuation would be five times the $2 billion assigned to the robotics software company following its previous financing.
FieldAI announced in August 2025 that it had raised $405 million across two consecutive rounds. Investors included Bezos Expeditions, BHP Ventures, Canaan Partners, Emerson Collective, Intel Capital, Khosla Ventures, NVentures, Prysm and Temasek.
Business Insider also reported that FieldAI now has more than $135 million in revenue and customer contracts, an increase of at least $35 million since June. The company was previously reported to have more than 30 customers across construction, data centers, defense and other industrial sectors. These figures come from an unnamed source and have not been confirmed by FieldAI.
The company develops hardware-independent Field Foundation Models designed to control humanoids, quadrupeds, wheeled robots, drones and industrial vehicles. Its EDGE platform uses a belief world model to reason under uncertainty and operate without prior maps, GPS or predefined routes. FieldAI says its software is running across production sites in North America, Europe and Asia.
FieldAI has announced commercial work with Caterpillar, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA and construction company Big-D. Its models are used for applications including site inspection, progress monitoring, three-dimensional reconstruction and operations in mining and energy environments.
