Michael Morin is a robotics commercialization executive who served as CEO of Boardwalk Robotics, the IHMC-linked humanoid robotics company behind Alex. Before Boardwalk, he held operations roles at Barrett Technology and Vicarious Surgical. He joined Boardwalk initially as COO in 2024 and subsequently became CEO, leading commercialization and early pilot efforts for Alex. IEEE Spectrum identified him as Boardwalk’s CEO during the 2024 Alex launch.
