The round was led by Dongzheng Capital, with Jinan Xianxing Investment Group and Zibo High-tech Venture Capital joining as new investors. Existing investor Legend Star also increased its position. YOBOTICS has now raised several hundred million yuan across its funding rounds.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Jinan, YOBOTICS has spent more than a decade developing legged robots for environments including energy, emergency response, transportation, ports and public safety. Its technology spans electric, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems, alongside its own robot control and embodied intelligence stack.

The company expanded into humanoids with Xingzhe Taishan, also known as E1, which was developed in 2024. The robot recently won the lightweight tug-of-war competition at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing.

YOBOTICS says the new capital will help turn its technology into larger-scale commercial deployments. The company plans to build additional production and assembly capacity, expand its national service network and continue deploying robots in high-risk environments including mines, emergency response and power infrastructure.

It is also preparing a broader humanoid lineup. YOBOTICS says its next phase of development will include new industrial and consumer humanoid robots, higher-power integrated joint modules and new heavy-duty and explosion-proof quadrupeds.

On the software side, the company is working on high-dynamic motion control using world models and reinforcement learning, alongside systems that combine environmental perception, task planning and autonomous execution.
