Shown at IFA 2026 in Berlin, ECHO P1 is currently a research-stage platform rather than a commercial product. Dreame is using the robot to test tasks including tidying, organization and transporting objects around the home. A second platform, ECHO S1, uses a single robotic arm and wheeled base to explore continuous laundry workflows spanning garment recognition, sorting, washing, drying and transferring finished laundry.
Behind the robots is a three-part physical AI architecture that Dreame says consolidates technology developed across nine years of intelligent hardware, AI and motion control.
Its Omni-Perception System handles information about spaces, objects and device state. A Unified Home Intelligence Model combines multimodal LLM, VLM and VLA capabilities to interpret the environment and determine how tasks should be completed. An Intelligent Actuation & Control System then translates those decisions into physical movement through motors, joints, mechanical systems and control algorithms.
Dreame is effectively trying to reuse technology developed across its existing consumer robotics business as the foundation for more capable home robots. The company already sells products across more than 190 countries and regions and says it has served over 42 million households.
